Junior Guard

The 2016 Morris City Pool Junior Guard Program helps develop skills for future lifeguards.  The Junior Guard program concentrates on lifesaving skills, guarding techniques, aquatic safety, and helps the participants meet the lifeguarding course prerequisites.  Participants receive a whistle and also get to shadow a Morris City Pool lifeguard in rotation to get a "real feel" for the lifeguarding job.  Junior Guard participants receive a shirt and a certificate of completion at the end of the course.  The course fee is $40 for city residents ($50 for nonResidents) and begins in mid-June and, if demand warrants, another session begins in July.  Please print and complete the forms below if you want your 10-to-15-year-old child in this great program and bring to the Morris City Pool in Goold Park (across from Morris Community High School).
